Hey Cobras-
After reading all of the submissions for our Meet and Greet Story contest, the CobraWebCrew has chosen a winner! Congratulations to Seidicobra, you are the winner! Her story is below:
So it was saturday night, the day before i was going to the Cobra concert, on November 1st, 2009. It was like 2am and i was on twitter, my mom was telling me to get off, because it was so late and the concert was the next day. I ignored her for a while, and as soon as i was going to shut down my computer, i dont know what in me made me check my twitter again! & i went on and Victoria was asking who was gonna go to the concert the next day, because she needed a favor. I didnt even think twice to reply to her! After a while of talking I was able to help her, and I ended up getting to meet them and everything! IT WAS AMAZINGGGGG.
& THE BEST PART:
Since i got meet & greet and i was first in line, i got to be right in front of the stage, and then when cobras were playing their set, my mom randomly pulled out this notepad she had in her purse & a sharpie! Shes like write something for Gabe! So my friend wrote, "WE KNOW THE SNAKES ON A PLANE RAP!" & i wrote "TE AMO GABRIEL" He kept winking at mine and smiling, and then he saw my friends sign, and he asked "Whats it say?!" and LOL my legs like died on me but i yelled what it said, and Gabe kinda gestured to us to come up, so i pushed my friend to the stage and i followed her. But then Gabe yelled; "NO i didnt say to come up!" but i grabbed on to MattBro and jumped up on some speakers and tripped over Ryland's cords and landed in Ryland's arms :D Then Gabe was like, "Eh they cool let them stay!" Then gabe recognized us as Victoria's helpers, and he said "you know what, i dont need you guys to sing the rap but imma let yall watch us from side stage!" I LITERALLY DIED. hahaha and so we went side stage where we even met Sierra from VersaEmerge, then the guys from Boys Like Girls, and we got picks and high fives from Ryland!
Sadly, when GGGB was ending MattBro told us to leave, but we hid from him, hahaha. (its all cool mattbro had made fun of me earlier that day, PAYBACK) My friend and I hid behind some sign & drums and we saw the cobras leave ): lol so then we got caught by the drummer of Boys Like Girls, who was laughing at us! so we got out from behind the sign and then who did we run into... ALEX SUAREZZZZZZZZZ! hahaha we ran to him and couldnt even talk! My friend was like omg can we have a hug!!! & Alex was like, "i'm really sweaty, like sweaty sweaty!" and we were like, "We Don't Care!" (He was REALLY SWEATY, i felt like i had just come out of a shower of Suarez Sweat!) and then i didnt know what to say, so i said 'I LOVE YOU ALEX' and then he said he loved me back , which made my day EVEN BETTER. then we walked off together, ran into the guys of A Rocket To The Moon, then we were sent back to the audience where we saw Boys Like Girls set :D
